A Year of Ethics on Earth

As the year comes to an end, I would like to take a moment to reflect on what Ethics on Earth has become over the past year.

This space has grown thanks to many people who read, write, comment, and quietly support its work. What began as a place for ethical reflection has slowly turned into a shared conversation, where curiosity, care, and thoughtful questioning matter more than quick conclusions.

Moral philosophy often reminds us that ethics begins with humility. We think and act within limits, shaped by others and by the world around us. Over this year, Ethics on Earth has been a space for learning through listening, for becoming more aware, and for staying open to being challenged.

Any achievements along the way belong to this shared effort. They are tiny steps in an ongoing process of reflection on responsibility, care, justice, and how we live together on this Earth.

As we move into the festive season and look toward a new year, I hope we carry forward this spirit of attentiveness, kindness, and care for one another and for the world we share.

Thank you for being part of Ethics on Earth.
Wishing you a Christmas filled with peace and hope and a thoughtful and warm New Year!
